I usually do a great job of thinking of neither. I see them, but can’t remember actually seeing either of them on the road other than last week a guy complimented my car outside 7-11 then drove away in a tC.

Not me. The Camry actually has a well thought out interior, the seat in the Toyota are much nicer(at least the leathers) and either you get a four pot, and 37-40 hwy 35 average, or a V6 that doesn’t need an inhaler. for a fair comparison to the Camry above it would need to be this Impala, which had an even worse interior.

This car was so bad, even the V8 powered(5.3l LS4 with just 303hp) SS were boring, and over all unpleasant to drive. I also think the Camry’s exterior styling is better, but that’s entirely subjective. It just looks like less of a boring blob.

no , as they were never sold here down under , Camry was/is and my sister-in-law has the shape shown in hybrid form , i have had the misfortune of driving it a few times. so yes i truly would prefer the Chev , even without driving it , basically it can’t be as bad as you say it is.

there’s NO WAY IN HELL i’d pick a Camry over anything else.

Nothing says “I’m broke and I have no other options” like a mid-’00s Impala.

The Camry might be a bloated whale, but it’s a bloated whale that does 110 MPH in 4 pot form without breaking a sweat. Plus it was built with some semblance of quality and not by people who working solely for the health benefits.
